Established in 1914, Buckingham Golf Club is a traditional private members' club set in 130 acres of beautiful rolling Buckinghamshire countryside (4th green pictured). The 18 hole, 6,162 yards, Par 71 Parkland Course offers a fair but challenging test to golfers of all abilities. The Club's desire to offer the best possible golfing experience to its members and visitors has been enhanced by the recent replacement of all 18 greens with new greens built to USGA specification.
The clubhouse will open from 11am. Twenty-five teams of 4 will play to Stableford Rules with a rolling start. The cost of the day is only £62.50 per golfer, £250 per team, to include welcome coffee and bacon buttie, green fees, 2 course dinner, and entertainment. There are a number of prizes on both a team and individual basis, and auction following dinner. The day closes at around 9pm.
2009, 2010 and 2011 events were fully booked, congratulations to David Howell's team for winning the PACE Charity Golf Day Claret Jug in 2009 , Jeff Archer's team for carrying off the prize in 2010 and Graeme Hannah's winning team in 2011.
